Frequently Asked Questions

  • Makers and artists working in ceramics, textiles, wood, art, food, spirits, and adjacent practices. Jamaican-born or of Jamaican heritage.

  • Ceramics, woven goods, woodwork, prints, books, coffee, chocolate, and other artisanal food, sold across all nine days. Original art and larger pieces show in the gallery instead.

  • No. There's no participation fee for makers we select.

  • Small objects: 20 to 40 units. Medium pieces: 10 to 20. Large works: 5 to 10. We finalize the exact count with each maker.

  • No. Your work stays on site and sells on your behalf for the full nine days. If you do come, you're welcome at the Buyer & Industry morning and the rest of the programming.

  • Depends on the category, price point, and how the work is produced. Some pieces we purchase wholesale for the boutique. Others sell on consignment, with revenue shared after the sale. We set the structure with you directly.

  • The stōshos team handles sales on site and sends you reporting and payment under the agreed structure. Shipping guidelines and delivery timelines go out ahead of the residency.
